Explore a related topic and return

When you have learning access, take a temporary foundation or related-topic visit while keeping a return route to your original topic or project.

Open the foundation you need

Choose an available foundation shown for the current topic or follow a related-topic action. When you leave an active project’s topic, the workspace keeps a return route. Look for the notice that you are viewing a related topic.

Visit another course from the workspace

Choose More, then Course, then Browse another course, and select an available course. This keeps a return route for both a project and an ordinary discussion. Courses requiring access cannot be selected. Exit learning remains the normal way to leave for the public course catalogue.

Keep each draft with its topic

Your earlier draft remains with the original topic and project context. Writing during the temporary visit belongs to that visit’s context. Check the current goal before sending so that you address the topic now on screen.

Use the named return action

Choose Return to project or Return to, followed by the topic name, to go back one step. After more than one related-topic step, Return to the original topic takes you back to the start. The workspace keeps up to three return steps; return before opening a further level.

Check the topic, project and draft

Check the restored topic, project and draft before continuing. If the saved reading position is no longer available, use the current material to find your place. That notice concerns the reading position; the project draft is retained.
