Learn with AI Tutor
With learning access, use one continuing discussion to ask a question or work through a step you cannot explain.
Write your question
Open an available course topic and write what you want to understand. For example: “I know how to compute a mean, but why do its residuals add to zero?” You can ask a direct question without completing a fixed sequence first.
Choose the help that fits
Ask for a small hint, a worked example, a visual explanation or a careful derivation. Say what you have already tried so the tutor can focus on the gap. A conjecture is a starting point: test its assumptions and look for an example that could disprove it.
Use a scaffold, then try for yourself
Under More ways to learn, choose an analogy, a task breakdown, a reasoning review, a revision comparison or a fresh example. Each choice adds an editable request to your draft; you decide when to send. Include the reasoning you want reviewed. For a revision comparison, share both versions on the same topic. A guided practice reply is not independent evidence of mastery.
Decide your next step
If a reply does not help, name the step that is unclear and the kind of help you want next. You might say: “The algebra is clear, but I cannot picture the geometry. Can we use a two-dimensional example?” You can continue the discussion or return to the course materials.
Check the reasoning and keep your work
AI can make mistakes. Check important claims against the course material, stated assumptions and your own examples. A helpful reply is not a formal grade. If a reply is interrupted, use Check saved result before retrying; follow any draft-storage notice before closing the page.
