Course assessment rules

Formal assessment is off by default and opens only for an invited candidate after the course/version readiness decision.

Updated 21 September 2026

Format and permitted resources

Choose Overview, Practice or Derive and complete one timed, open-book 100-point paper. Every required response must be substantive. AXIOVUM Tutor is disabled during the assessment. The rules prohibit external generative AI, but AXIOVUM does not monitor other applications and does not claim to prevent its use.

Scoring and human decision

The frozen rubric weights are correctness 15, rigour 40, independent judgement 25, and complex problem solving and transfer 20. AI can provide a traceable suggestion. Only human finalisation creates a formal result. One person may perform all roles; when that occurs the record says single-actor and does not claim independent review.

Results, retakes and appeals

Scores 0–39 receive an Assessment Completion Record; 40–49 Foundation, 50–59 Application, 60–69 Insight and 70–100 Discovery receive a Course Capability Certificate. One standard retake stays at the same depth. An approved technical replacement does not consume it. A human-recorded concern may lead to oral verification; an AI detector alone cannot establish cheating. Oral verification and the formal result can be appealed.
